Our built-in microphone system installs a microphone (two on a 2 x 12" cabinet) on the speaker frame themselves within the cabinet. XLR outputs are provided for studio and live applications allowing each speaker to be mixed separately for maximum control.

THE "PERFECT 20" STORY

The “PERFECT 20” is going to blow you away. Familiar, but different - A 20- watt tone experience! Sweet, Sweet, complex clean tones, with an overdrive that will take take almost anywhere you you might dare to let yourself go.

As it pertains to great tube amplification, we asked ourselves if there was a way to bring the complex and sublime sounds of the original ODS tone machine, to an amplifier with a lower wattage power section. Could we make it purr, sing, grind and harmonize? Could we put it in a more manageable package, and finally, could we make it affordable?

It took several years of trial, error, and some near misses before the "PERFECT 20" could earn the name it bears today.

Starting with a blank sheet of paper, a lower output power amp, was the starting point. It was paramount for us to maintain the original circuit's critical design features, and not let any of our goals change the final tone or compromise in any single way. The famous cascading channel is here.

A two - button footswitch controls both the boost feature (the green LED) and the introduction of the the overdrive to the channel (the red LED).

The clean tones are just as sweet and bold as can be, and with the introduction of the overdrive process, the amplifier generates the most pleasing harmonics. From blues to rock and roll, and from rock to fusion - this fun sized tone machine has you covered. If you are looking to rock, you will love this amp.

NOTE --- This is NOT a Marshall 1959 , and this is not a Trainwreck Express (see our BLACK PAW for that experience) !! There are so many things this amplifier is not. What it is however is the embodiment of a certain style of coveted amplifiers created by the late Alexander Howard Dumble
